About this item
- 100% natural stone that is safe for your aquarium and has been sourced, hand split, tumbled, washed, and packaged by our family owned business in the USA. The color is a gorgeous deep grey (considered black) and has a slight silvery luster of mica that is a real show stopper! Each box has 7 to 9 stones and is a mix of sizes from 5 to 7 inches (some stones may be slightly above or below this range).
- AQUARIUMS - Ideal for aquascaping planted, fresh or saltwater aquariums, paludariums, and various tank styles like biotope, Iwagumi, Dutch, nano, and betta tanks. The silvery-black luster of this stone enhances the plants and tank inhabitants. Create cliffs, caves, mountains, berms, and walls. Lay flat, stand on end, or angle with support. Use with our larger pieces, smaller stones, and aquarium gravel for a realistic scene. Attach to larger driftwood to prevent floating.
- REPTILE ENCLOSURES - Perfect in terrariums, vivariums and other pet enclosures. These stones naturally hold heat for reptiles or other heat loving pets. They can be glued together to create caves, cliffs, berms, walls or used for small to medium sized reptiles/pets as climbing, basking stones or feeding stations. Use aquarium safe glue or epoxy to secure all your creations for the safety of your inhabitants. Use with our larger and smaller stone for a realistic scene.
- Thoroughly rinse all stones before gluing or placing in your habitat. There are absolutely no coatings on this or any of our stone.
- Because this is a natural stone, there may be some white quartz veining or brown/orange surface discoloration. These beautiful variations add a natural uniqueness and interest to the stones.
